I am Geeta Sundaram, writing from Goa, India, a lovely coastal region away from the hustle and bustle of big cities. I live here with my elderly parents and am a freelancer in advertising and brand communications.
When I am not working, I am usually reading. And this gives me enough time and space to think about life, where the world is headed and what we can do to make it a better place.
Having spent years in the advertising business as a writer and having studied economics, I have always found myself at a curious vantage point. It’s where the world of production and consumption, creativity and consumer research, ideas and thoughts all collide.
And as a writer, one is only too sensitive to the changes happening all around us and to us.

Sensitive to the fact that we are all trying to make sense of the increasingly polarised world we live in.
It is from this intersection of economics and politics, art for art’s sake and art for consumption, that I will be writing my posts. Sharing my thoughts and ideas, views and reviews and hoping that you will follow me in this exploration. Of course, I look forward to readers’ comments and views as well.
So until next time, it’s au revoir from Goa!
