Helping Mercedes-Benz Glide Into the Future

Having worked on new brand strategies for several luxury automobile brands such as JLR corporate, Jaguar, Land Rover and Porsche on my blog, it’s time now for me to share my thoughts on the iconic Mercedes-Benz brand.

I focus my attention on the corporate brand, Mercedes-Benz, and how to help it regain its leadership position in the luxury segment of automobiles, while also transitioning to new technologies and alternative fuels of the future. I help Mercedes-Benz rediscover its competitive advantage, established over many decades of proven track record, and recommend that they reposition themselves accordingly with a new brand campaign. While the script for the TV/video campaign for Mercedes-Benz is in the document above, along with the text for the print campaigns, I have also designed layouts for the brand campaign in print which you can view and read in the document below. I must clarify, though, that I am not an art director or a designer, and have used the designing app for non-designers, Canva, to be able to create these.

I hope Mercedes-Benz will revive its brand positioning based on its engineering excellence and also communicate it effectively to all audiences. I wish them well as they galvanise the entire company to achieve greater heights.
